I have been involved behind the scenes through classes in many of the plays and musicals, but only recently, in my senior year, have I been completely involved both behind the scenes in tech and as an actor. I have been completely involved in one play (The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe) and one musical (Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief – The Musical). My favorite out of the two would have to be Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief, and my favorite character would have to be playing as Mrs. Dodds.
If I had to describe my drama experience at GHMS in just three words:
Transformative, Captivating, & Unforgettable.
Some of the moments I will never forget about the Drama Department would be the times spent at rehearsal for both The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe fall play and Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief spring Musical, the times spent in both drama and tech class, my short time spent on costumes, making the puppets for the 2026 spring musical, and many more.
My plans after High School
After high school, I plan on attending North Carolina A&T University.
