Monologues for Auditions:

Actors will pick two different monologues from the list linked below in the yellow bar. It is highly recommended that actors memorize their chosen monologues from The Play That Goes Wrong, add movement, and develop the separate characters (showing a clear difference between the two). It is OK if one or both monologues are not memorized, but having them memorized is encouraged to show your dedication.

In-person Auditions: 

Submit the Audition Application (including parent signature and any schedule conflicts) via the Google Form prior to auditions. 

Arrive at the GMHS Auditorium on Thursday, August 15 by 12:30pm. Auditions will finish by 2pm.

(You may also attend the July 23rd date below as a bonus audition time for reading from the script - not monologues, but it is not required.)

Q: What if I cannot attend the In-person auditions on August 15? 

A: You have two options. You may either attend the “Early Audition” on July 23 and then complete the steps for the Virtual Audition. Or you may just complete the steps for the Virtual Audition. Attending the July 23rd Early Auditions are not required, but are encouraged for anyone wanting to audition. 

Early Auditions:

Tuesday, July 23; 1pm -3pm in the GMHS Auditorium. 

No materials are required. Auditioners will read scenes from the script with other actors. This date is an opportunity for anyone wanting to audition, especially those who cannot make the August 15th date. So, even if you are planning to do in-person auditions on August 15, you can still come read scenes on July 23 as a bonus to your audition. Casting will not occur until all virtual auditions have been reviewed on August 16. 

Virtual Auditions:

Submit the Audition Application (including parent signature and any schedule conflicts) via the Google Form by 11:59pm August 15. 

Complete your virtual audition of your two chosen monologues by recording yourself on your phone or laptop and upload it to the Google Form prior to 11:59pm on August 15:
