I didn’t know what it meant to be part of something before joining this department. I was introduced to drama in my sophomore year with the student-directed one-acts, and have been in 8 productions total. This spring, I played Grover in Percy Jackson! Acting has probably got to be the thing I miss most about high school!
If I had to describe my drama experience at GHMS in just three words:
Rewarding, Collaborative, Exciting
A memory I will never forget is getting to make friendship bracelets with the cast and crew during TLT made me feel so connected to the department. That was my first time feeling like I was part of a real community.
My plans after High School
I plan to attend NCSU in the fall for Agricultural Education!
