I’ve been part of this department since my freshman year and have loved every second of it. I’ve been in pretty much every class and program Mrs. Hazelrigg offers. I’ve been in the 11 productions we’ve done since my freshman year fall play and have been involved in both acting and tech work. It’s truly been an amazing and life-changing experience. My favorite production has to be Little Shop of Horrors because of the opportunity to put on such a fun show, play such an iconic character like Seymour, and work with friends who love the show just as much as I do. Singing and talking with a massive puppet is also pretty cool.

My plans after High School

I plan on studying theatre, history, and/or film at either Appalachian State or UNC Chapel Hill. I want to be a musician, sound engineer, actor, or filmmaker.
