« Return to 2023 Senior Spotlights
I started in my freshman year as a set crew tech, in my junior I worked in publicity and was a light tech-in-training, and this year I’ve done three productions as the light crew chief. In total, I’ve participated in five productions. I’d have to say either Chicago or Fools were my favorite productions to do. Both brought me endless joy and I had so much fun with the cast and crew during that time. I also love Anastasia because I’ve found myself stepping out of my comfort zone. I’ve gotten to help more crews than I’ve helped in my drama career, including costumes, publicity, and props crew.
If I had to describe my drama experience at GHMS in just three words:
Fun, Comfort, and New
No matter what the show is, there are always going to be three consistencies. You’re always going to have fun, you’re always going to have a family, and you’re always going to have new experiences.
My plans after High School
At the moment, I don’t plan to go to college for at least a year. I’m going to work, try to travel, and work on my mental health for a year or two before I go back to school. I’ve been looking into lighting director positions and career paths and also English education and social work.
Here’s a little bit more about myself
