« Return to 2023 Senior Spotlights

Whilst I am a senior, my time with the drama club started relatively recently. I started last school year, and I will have been in 3 productions at the end of the year. I started with our 2022 Spring Musical, “Chicago”, where I played in the pit as first trumpet. That was my gateway into the beauty of theatre, and going into the next year I decided on trying my luck with acting. I performed in the One Acts, playing as Scooby-Doo in a play of the same name, additionally as Dwight in “The Office”. In my last production, I’ll be Dmitry in “Anastasia”. My favorite production to be a part of was Chicago. It was a blast. It was my first production, so I had that “newbie” enjoyment. I was able to work with so many of my friends (in and out of pit). I’m also a huge jazz fan, so being able to perform some was a pleasure.

My plans after High School

I am hoping to attend North Carolina State University. I am interested in pursuing a career in a Music-related field, or Film/TV Production.
